It was neat to see the kids reaction to walk into the Kidzone Sunday. We are a long way from being done, but needed to be able to move in so we can work on the office area. My goal is to have one piece of the puzzle in place each Sunday with a goal of mid August to be completely done. We got our wall aquariums in today. One picture is with hall light out and the tank light on. The other is with the hall light on. The guy at Petsmart said it was best to buy half of your fish one day and then add the other half several days later. Right now, we have 4 fish in each tank. Eventually, we will have 9 in each tank.

The 2 biggest projects today were the eletrical and the plumbing for the bathrooms. This is a shot from Russ' office looking back toward the old 4th and 5th grade room. We will run phone and data lines this weekend, so they can drywall next week.

These are two pictures of work on the bathrooms. They cut the concrete from the bathrooms over to the doorway for the sewer line. They are hauling out the concrete in chunks.

They removed a bush near the dumpster. The window you see will become a doorway. That front fellowship hall needed another exit because we are closing off the other door in the preschool office.

Here's what the front fellowship hall looks like right now. All of this stuff came out of the back fellowship hall that will become offices. Some of this will go into the Kidzone. . .some of it will find new homes

The classrooms haven't been decorated yet, but we were able to move tables and chairs in for Sunday. This is the 2nd grade room.

Gretchen worked several hours on the teacher supply room. This room will have tubs of supplies on shelves along with a work table with a paper cutter and a copier.

Well, it's been several days since I've posted. Phase one still has some touch ups and fixes, but it was turned over to us to move kids into on Saturday. Here's a shot of the new stage after the carpet was installed.

It was a busy day today. The electricians were here continuing to work on the lights. They put all the door frames in and began to clear the floor to start the carpet on Monday.

Sorry it's been several days since I've posted. Over the holiday weekend, they were finishing painting. There wasn't much to show. They laid the tile yesterday in the snack area and are planning to carpet today and tomorrow.

They trimmed out the wall aquariums. They will paint those today to match the baseboards

They did some work on the stairs today. Getting ready to paint and carpet there.
